This unit covers the specification elements related to the characteristics and working properties relevant to fashion and textiles 2.3.3(b). It also relates to aspects of the classification of the main fibre groups 2.3.3(a). It is designed to provide a background to the topics but is not inclusive of all potential material required for examination purposes.
