The site will provide a breakdown of the AS/A2 syllabus. Also, the site provides 5-6 case studies of local industries e.g., garden centres, sports industry (leisure centres), animal care, breweries, farms, pharmacies, hospitals, aquariums, bakeries, supermarkets, local council departments such as environmental health. These will illustrate the variety of spheres of operation that are both local and useful.
The case studies will provide support for students in the internal assessment sections of the course. The site has been developed for the post 16 age range, and will provide an indication of the type and scope of content that would be suitable for the AS/A2 assessment.
