This resource is split into two sections:
Starter activity: This Introductory Stimulus Material illustrates how loci can be used in a practical situation to solve a problem. Pupils have to work out the area of land on which a developer is allowed to build.
Main activity: This open-ended tool enables you to create and display loci quickly. Up to four different sets of locus condition can be defined and layered on the chart. This is an ideal resource for illustrating concepts and setting problems.
